As a passionate communications manager, I am particularly fascinated by digital communication and the digital transformation that comes with it.
My journey began back in 1995 on a UNIX pizza box, where I programmed HTML with vi for the first time. Since then, I have been fascinated by the Internet.
My career has taken me through various roles including information designer, project manager, lecturer and communications and social media officer. I have worked for start-ups, large media companies and internationally renowned research organisations at the interface between research, industry and politics.
I have worked for the French media group Vivendi, the European Space Agency (ESA), the new space start-up PTScientists (now Planetary Transportation Systems) and the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).
My expertise includes communication management, strategic communication, digital media management, social media management, media relations and public relations, crisis communication and public affairs.
After my German-French Abitur in Essen, I studied intercultural communication, information science and legal informatics in Saarbrücken. In 2016, I obtained my Master’s degree in Communications, Media and Public Relations (with honours) at the University of Leicester, UK.
My working languages are German, English and French, and I can draw on strong networks in the international media, the space and AI industry and the German online scene.
Projects I have been involved in have been honoured with or nominated for the Grimme Online Award, including Spreeblick (2006) and the nomination for Alexander Gerst (2015).
